Say bye to Aada, and welcome to Lenfi 💜 After long consideration, encouraged by our community and partners since the very start, we have decided to rename our project to Lenfi. Everything has stayed the same according to our goals and to the team: we are still working towards the same thing - to deliver a secure and permissionless pooled lending solution to Cardano. 🟣 Okay, so what has changed? Simply put, the only things that changed are what you all see the most - our branding, coloring, and domain. To make it simple for the users and people already used to Aada, we will keep the same stylistics for our app and visuals, where as a user, you will see only background color changes and new name - Lenfi. 🟣When will everything be changed? Our team has set a deadline until we finish all the transition work. You will see the deployments of Lenfi little by little. We will let you know with every step we make not to leave anyone behind. We will slowly transit everything to Lenfi, from a homepage until the last drop of social media. What we can promise for next week is updated Lightpaper. 🟣What happens to $AADA token? Nothing. No new issued token, no token swaps: everything stays the same, where we will just rename $AADA to $LENFI. If you had $AADA in your wallet, it will become $LENFI, if you had $AADA locked as collateral, after returning your loan you will receive $LENFI. Token stays the same with only the name change. 🟣Most importantly, WEN IS TESTNET? First, we want to say that we already have a fully working Testnet app, smart contracts are working, and we have been testing for a while now. However, we keep running into errors where every single one requires time to fix. For users to experience smooth testing of Lenfi Testnet, we want to eliminate all or the majority of the errors which we are currently receiving. We believe that we have great testers in our community, which will help us discover even more fixable things. In this matter, we want to be as close to perfection as possible. 👉 July 10th is the SOFT date for the Lenfi Testnet launch. This date is not set in stone, but it is a clear goal for our team. We are confident that we will be able to deliver on this date, but knowing how perfectionist we are with our platform, everything can change. We will keep you updated. 🟣We are excited! While, as mentioned before, this rebranding means little regarding our work, we believe the Lenfi name will broaden the horizons and be a well-recognizable name in the DeFi space.
